Arm balances and inversions teach us courage, how to be playful and how to create lightness in space. Many of us often rely too much on force when working on these poses, rather than learning to understand the essential actions and movements. We will break down the poses into components and use props for training muscle memory and to create more access.
In this workshop, we will explore foundations and fundamentals for flight like protraction and the posterior pelvic tilt. Scott will guide you through a series of poses and drills with focus on how to breathe at the right time so you can begin developing the confidence, strength, and all your greatness on and off the mat.
