Brand X wsg Major Dudes Otus Supply 21+ The Parliament Room at Otus Supply presents "Brand X" with support from "Major Dudes" BRAND X are recognized as true musical pioneers as they helped create an entire musical genre and influenced a broad spectrum of musicians and bands, from Phish to Dream Theatre. They are unrivaled in their creativity, originality and approach. Their contemporaries include bands such as Weather Report, Mahavishnu Orchestra and Return to Forever, all crafting a unique blend of jazz, rock, and ethnic influences now widely known by fans worldwide as Fusion. Brand X, featuring founding member John Goodsall (guitar), along with Chris Clark on keys (since the band reunited in 2016), Ric Fierabracci on bass (The Chick Corea Elektric Band, Billy Cobham Band, Scott Henderson, and many more), and Greyson Nekrutman on drums, return to the Detroit area for their first show here since December of 2018. Opening the show, local boys, Major Dudes, bring their Steely Dan-covering expertise to the proceedings. They are winners of the Detroit Music Award for outstanding tribute band in 2019 and 2020.
