Hey I’m Lottie, I’m 24 and I play guitar and write songs (a bit of my stuff is on spotify under Lottie Marie, but there’s lots of unrecorded songs that I’m looking to get up on there soon). I’m looking for other folks in my general age group who live in the city and want to make music, and maybe record some stuff! I play in a lot of open tunings and don’t really use a lot of guitar vocab mainly because I taught myself and never really learned music in a school setting. I listen to a lot of different music but some of my inspirations for a variety of different reasons are Big Thief/Adrianne Lenker, Khruangbin, Field Medic, and also really enjoy listening to instrumental music from different countries and cultures. Basically artists who I feel do something interesting and different than what is most popular right now. I really just want to experiment with new people, new instruments, new ways of writing, and just having fun with it all while learning more about writing music. I live in the city and don’t have a car so if you live nearby and want to meet up and make some weird sounds, shoot me an email with a bit about yourself :)
