Hi, I'm an independent female singer-songwriter looking for a musician pen pal. Basically to start, you send me a sample, ie rough draft, of a song/music/lyrics/concepts you're working on, then, I send you back feedback + a song of my own for you to then give feedback for + a follow-up song/revision of your own. This goes back and forth perpetually, whenever we want to share. Low stakes, no commitment necessary. All heart honesty in our feedback to each other, promoting communal inspiration, motivation to write more songs, and opportunities to listen and be heard by others. Mutual confidentiality of the songs we share is highly respected and necessary, these are just to be shared between us as pen pals. Open to simple rough phone recordings, nothing fancy is necessary, just a passion for writing songs and sharing. Send me something you're working on to start being pen pals. Or if you need to build some trust first before sharing your song-babies, just send me a simple message telling me about yourself, your sound inspiration, your relationship with music and/or your songwriting goals and we'll go from there. If multiple people are interested, I'd be happy to open this up as a group circle of music-sharing-pen pals if we want to do that, otherwise it will just be 1-1 private sharing.
