I am a guitar player looking to find other guitar players, bass player, drummer, keyboard maybe, and a vocalist(good luck with that one) I am not looking to become world famous overnight. I would like to find people to write music with and bounce ideas off of. Right now I am playing lead, rythm, and bass on my personal tracks. I am trying to build up enough confidence to record my drumming but affraid to hear how bad it is. Influences are: Metallica, Slayer, Arch Enemy, Korn, Stabbing Westward, Godsmack, Manson, NIN, Ramstein, Unearth, Killswitch Engage, As I lay dying. Also enjoy music from: Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, Green Day, Oasis, early No Doubt, Lynard Skynard, Tom Petty, Led Zepplin, Black Saboth, Iron Maiden, Linkin Park, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Disturbed, Rise Against, Rage against tjhe machine, Sound Garden, Some foo fighters songs, etc. Things I can do that I hope you can do. Yes its craigslist so I have to list shit like this. 1. I can tune my guitar by ear. Can you at least tune yours with a tuner? 2. I play in different tunings. Do you know what drop D is? Or Half step up or down are? 3. I can play to a click track. 4. I know power chords. 5. I know how to read tabs or watch a youtube video on how to learn a cover. 6. I know how to write harmony for multiple guitars and layer it with a lead. 7. I can almost sweep pick and do fun stuff with tapping. So if this sounds like your skill level or about feel free to message me. I currently have a six and seven string guitar. Wah Pedel. Line 6 practice amp, head, and half stack. I am currently searching for a guitar with a whami bar and floyd rose locks that doesnt sound like total crap. (i am going to be buying one that does though 1000 for a good guitar is out of my budget for playing in my house.) Crappy four string bass. Just for recording. Crappy electric drum kit. No double bass so its extra sucky.
