First Court is looking for 48 fair minded people from Gwinnett County Georgia, to participate in one of two brief online Jury Research Projects. Our projects are about real lawsuits, so we are looking for people in the area where the cases originated who can give us their honest feedback on the facts of the cases. We currently have two projects open for application in Gwinnett County. You may apply for both of them. You MAY be hired for ONE of the projects but not both. Project #1 is self-paced and must be done online within a 24-36 hr window on or around Sept 18-19th. This portion pays $75 via PayPal or business check in the mail. We are also offering an extra $100 to some of the jurors who provide the best feedback, to participate in a moderated group video conference about the case. This will take place via Zoom Video Conferencing. This is currently planned to be held on Wednesday, Oct 20th from 12:45pm to 3:00pm Eastern. Project #2 is held via Zoom Video Conferencing on Thursday, Oct. 21st form 11:30am - 5pm Eastern. Payment for this is $150 payable via PayPal or business check in the mail. These are online projects so participants must have access to the internet, a working webcam, and a Chrome or Firefox web browser (smartphones may work but our software is not specifically designed to support them).
