Hello Musicians, or a good drummer who can not find a healthy band, I am 66 years old, been performing 46+ years, mostly weekend music, and keeping my day job. I guess you can call it semi-pro musician activity. I am looking for an old guy drummer for occasional gigs. This old-guy group, 3-5 members, enjoys doing variety music, mostly oldie songs. I need an experienced, old-guy drummer who has tuned drums, can play a variety of stable rhythms, and does not play loud. The group needs a drummer who is capable of playing oldie jazz, country swing, Latin, rhumba and '50s - '60s rock and roll. Vocal and back-up vocals a plus. Attitude is a priority - Leave the ego at home !! - the group performs to please it's audience and everyone has fun. Please no drugs. Yes, a group of white and gray haired musicians playing fun music.
