đŸš©Band Seeking Experienced BASS PLAYER

Meets

Sacramento CA

Description

—Experienced pro lead vocalist/rhythm guitar player and lead guitar player - we are reforming the band (we split up when covid hit). ‘Looking for an experienced BASS PLAYER —Doing older Classic Rock (not hard rock); Blues/Funky Blues; R&B/Funk; some Americana —We have some gigs on the books so want to get players into rehearsals soon. (late September, October). —If you have any gig connections from previous bands and gigging experience, that you can bring to the table to help get gigs - that’s a plus. When other members of the band pitch in using whatever gig connections they may have vs just one person solely responsible for doing that job, we get more gigs. And if you know of a good (reputable trustworthy) booking agent, that would be very helpful also. —This is not a “throw together jam band”; but as experienced players we can get tight pretty quickly and easily. The material is not difficult for an experienced seasoned pro. —If you’re primary desire is to jump into a band to make some fast instant money and aren’t willing to put some rehearsal time in to get the band tight - or you don’t like rehearsing, then no need to respond to this ad. —We all want to make money playing music and we do but we we don’t need gig money to pay the bills or rent
again if you do, and if you’re playing in a few bands to make ends meet - we’re not a band for you. We are looking for people to make this band your only or main band. If you’re playing with numerous other bands, it makes it very difficult to schedule rehearsals and gigs because you’re often not available to rehearse or gig when we need you. —Our goal is always to play good music with good musicians who have good attitudes, no big egos, and want to enjoy having fun making the band tight. —Doing clubs, wineries, brew pubs, fairs, festivals, concerts, parties, casinos, private/corporate events, restaurants, etc. —We ard fully vaccinated with the covid vaccine and seek players who are too. —-We are (and are looking for the same in potential band members) —reliable, easy going, have good gear and transportation; have a positive attitude, not into alcohol, drugs, drama or big egos. (And no smoking of any kind, including pot) —Must be available to rehearse once a week đŸ”·If you are interested, reply and provide the following: đŸš©Information about your music history and gigging experience (if you haven’t played at all in the last 2-3 years, that will probably be an issue but we’ll discuss) đŸš©What are you looking for in a band or in joining this (or a) band? How often are you looking to play? đŸš©A demo sample of you playing. It doesn’t have to be fancy but we want to hear how you currently sound and play - every seasoned experienced musician at this stage of the game, should have a decent demo of them playing. đŸš©Your contact info — this is important because Craiglist ads expire fairly quickly and once that happens, we will not be able to contact you via their messaging system. As with any job, it’s standard practice to provide your contact information. If you’re not willing to, then it’s probably best not to be searching for a band to join, or at least not this one. đŸš©And any other relevant information you care to provide đŸ”·We will NOT contact you back if you do not include a demo and all of the requested information. đŸš©Oncd we receive the requested information and demo sample from you, we will get back to you within 24-48-72 hours max. And can provide you with our information, promo and further details. đŸš©Thanks for your interest
