A rare full time opportunity to become part of a great team in Menomonie. The right person can start between $17 and $20 per hour plus benefits. This is a job for someone who wants to work! Take control of your schedule and be your own boss. Must be able to "do it all", have a vehicle capable of towing a trailer and a set of basic tools. A large apartment complex in Menomonie has an opening for a maintenance person. The right candidate must have experience with plumbing, painting/drywall work, light electrical, basic carpentry, flooring, landscaping, cleaning, and have some mechanical ability. Snow shoveling, blowing snow, and salting sidewalks in winter will be required, so being available mornings, afternoons, and some weekends and holidays is necessary. The right candidate will be helping with apartment turnover, be involved with various projects and upgrades both in and around the properties, and responding to resident work orders. We have properties in surrounding communities, so the right candidate must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and be able to travel between sites in Menomonie, Boyceville, Ridgeland, and Colfax as needed. You must be able to work with minimal supervision at times, have your own basic tools, be reliable, be able to take direction from the maintenance manager and property manager, and be able to work as part of a team. Interacting with contractors, vendors, and residents is often required. Strong people skills and a smart phone are required.
