"Heart to Heart” is a gathering to strengthen our resilience & ability to motivate others. Join us for a day of interactive trainings & fun. Working on climate change can seem like a fight, but it’s more an act of enduring love. We dedicate ourselves to this effort to protect those whom we care about, and because we feel a moral obligation to act. And yet this work is hard. Do you ever find yourself struggling to sustain enthusiasm and resilience during the ongoing climate crisis? Would you like to strengthen conversational skills to inspire climate action? The Citizens Climate Lobby, Mid-Atlantic Region, is thrilled to host “Heart to Heart”, a gathering to strengthen our resilience and ability to motivate others, featuring two interactive trainings: Personal Story Exchange, a conversational approach for authentically connecting with members of the public around climate. Active Hope, a practice of incorporating the emotions arising within us from climate-related loss and transforming them to access our power. Please register early to ensure your spot.
