Join Ben Kalra of NoDa Yoga to learn the foundations of Bakasana (crow pose) and build mobility + creativity into your yoga asana practice! Arm Balances are powerful tools that can help us overcome fear, build confidence, and deepen the connection between mind and body. In this 2 hour workshop, we’ll explore the foundations and learn about essential mechanics and movements that help us fly. Students can expect a functional warm up, pose breakdowns with drills and modifications, and playtime to see what’s possible. We’ll end with a smooth cool down, meditation, and savasana. Whether you’re a beginner or a frequent flyer, show up with curiosity and leave with new tools to explore your practice. This session will focus on lifting into bakasana (crow pose), building from the foundation of chaturanga dandasana (low plank). There will be options to continue building into eka pada bakasana (one legged crow), parsva bakasana (side crow), eka pada koundinyasana 1 & 2 (flying splits), and more!
