Learn to Play popular games such as Wingspan, Mariposas and Bees
Join us on Saturday, Oct. 2 from 2-4:30 p.m. for a Birds and the Bees themed Learn to Play event at Luck Factory Games. During this event, our experts will be on hand to teach Wingspan, Mariposas and Beez. Attendees will also have the option of a wine tasting or soda to enjoy while they play. This event is $10 per person and advanced registration is requested. Luck Factory Games is always family friendly (this is just a catchy event title).
Wingspan (Age 14+) is a competitive, medium-weight, card-driven, engine-building board game from Stonemaier Games. Mariposas (Age 14+) is played in three seasons. In general, your butterflies try to head north in spring, spread out in summer, and return south in fall. The end of each season brings a scoring round, and at the end of fall, the player with the most successful family of butterflies — i.e., the most victory points — wins the game. In Beez (Age 8+), players compete to optimize their flight plans to secure nectar for their hive. Be careful of the other bees as you will compete with them over a set of public and private scoring goals. The challenge in planning and storing the nectar will make your brain buzz!
