A sanctuary of sound is created through the soundwaves of unique instruments and voice. An immersive meditation of peace and transcendance. Lana Ryder has been sharing the healing power of sound, voice and music for forty-five years. These events fill quickly. Participants benefit from the presenter having studied with some of the best sound therapy teachers in the field and her experience of having directly seen the beneficial effects of sound therapy with hundreds of clients in private practice over the past twenty years as well as in group sound meditations in recent years. She created ReikiSound™️, ReikiVoice™️, and Soundwise Voice curriculum, introducing massage, energy, holistic and healthcare practitioners to the fundamentals of sound, voice and music as therapy. "Sound Therapy: An Introduction to the Fundamentals, Beginning to Use Sound, Voice and Music in the Healing Arts" is now a 40 hour introductory course. It may be taken as one day a month in class for five months or on a mutually convenient schedule for student and instructor. Lana is a licensed massage, energy and sound therapist, certified holistic health coach, holistic practices educator, reiki master-teacher, professional vocalist and past board member of the International Society for Quantitative Research in Music and Medicine. She is a former worship music director, instructor at two area massage schools and previous Clinical Coordinator of Massage and Body Therapies at WellSpan Health.
