Come join 4 Star Strength and lift in costume, have some fun, and get slamming some bars! Costumes optional, fun is not. The Boo Bash will be a a great meet where athletes can celebrate accordingly with Halloween and lift in "costume" so long as they are in accordance with USAW rules. They can lift in any costume they would like but anyone not in USAW accordance will not have their totals submitted. This is a fun meet and a chance for athletes to get on the platform again or their first time ever. We encourage all weightlifters from all over to grab a spot and come have some fun! Sessions will be mixed gender and schedule tentatively is as follows 7am - weight in session 1 9am - session 1 lift 10am - weigh in session 2 12:00pm - session 2 lift Potluck Format so make sure you bring a dish! Cash Prize for best costume - each athlete will get a "ticket" to cast their vote! We hope to see you there for the spooky lifting! Spectators also always welcome! 4 Star Strength is Michigan's modern home of Olympic Weightlifting. With over multiple decades of experience between our coaching staff in the sport of Olympic Weightlifting there is no other group like this in the region. We have competed on all levels and built competitors around the country. We work with all levels and all we ask of our athletes is to come in and give an honest days hard work.
