Our client is one of the largest Wine & Spirits distributors in the State of California. They are seeking a merchandiser for 4 AM resets at major grocery store locations in the following areas this coming week. Please let us know if you are available for any one store or more. Either is fine: Monday, 9/27, Los Altos at 4 AM Tuesday, 9/27, Los Gatos at 4 AM Thursday, 9/30, Lafayette at 4 AM Shifts of at least 5 hours will be paid for 8 hours. Minimum shift guarantee is 4 hours, even if the job is shorter or cancelled altogether 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Please let us know ASAP if you are available for any or all of the above merchandising gigs. Mileage reimbursement at.56 per mile will be paid round trip from your home to the store and back in addition to $18.00 an hour. Primary job responsibilities include restocking store shelves, building small displays, organizing and general servicing of our client’s brands within each store. Merchandisers work in Teams. A Team Leader will be available to help with training. It is not necessary to have any in depth knowledge of wine or spirits in order to do this job. Compensation – How and when will I be paid? Merchandisers are paid each Friday for all hours worked and miles driven the previous week. Those working any of the 3 shifts listed above will be paid for them on Friday, October 8th. Payment methods include the Merchandiser’s choice of a direct deposit or payroll debit card. Merchandisers are paid as employees. Applicable payroll taxes will be deducted from each paycheck. Dress requirements: In this role, you are viewed as a Sales Representative of our client. Sales Reps are expected to be neat, clean and well-groomed. The most common attire is dark pants or jeans with a collared polo shirt, blouse or similar. For safety reasons, open toed shoes are not allowed. Desired Background/Skills: • Minimum high school diploma or GED • Resides within a 25-mile radius of locations listed in this posting • Must possess a valid Driver’s License • Reliable personal transportation is required (mileage reimbursed at.56 a mile grossed up) • Must be 21 years of age or older • Neat, clean and professional appearance • Ability to work under minimum supervision Physical Requirements: Repetitive bending, kneeling and stooping is required. Merchandisers must be capable of lifting cases of beer, wine or spirits (which can weigh up to 40 pounds each) multiple times per shift.
