High: 77 Low: 53. Here are the top stories today in Madison: Through an $8.2 million project, Dane County would support affordable housing projects which would create over 450 new housing units. Dane County Executive Joe Parisi said the decision comes amid COVID-19 which "exacerbated" the affordable housing crisis. (Cap Times) An east side Madison building was hit by gunfire on Friday night. There are no reports of injuries. (WKOW)Wisconsin schools are calling the police on students at a rate double that of the national average. These numbers are especially startling for Native American students. Wisconsin Watch takes a look at high levels of police involvement in our state's schools.
