I WASNT GOING TO POST BUT SINCE ITS BEEN BOTHERING ME AND ITS FRIDAY...... I’m enjoying my cup of coffee and I’m free and I have nothing else to do. My children attend the new Aspire university charter school and there’s specifically something about this one parent who drives either too slow or too fast. (I have watched her and had to deal with her myself) Theres a parent who drives this red Toyota and She drives like she has no regards for other parents when they are crossing the street with their children some days and some days she’s like a turtle. There was a few times where I seen her speed and came close to hitting a parent and their children. I’ve watched her behavior and she’s like a ticking time bomb she’s always cursing at other vehicles and when cars let her go she takes her sweet time to pull out. I went to the school board meeting and spoke out about this parent and others seem to agree..... I don’t know if anyone received the newsletter for the 2/3 week of school Ms. Thompson was talking about her. In all honestly I feel like the school should patrol the area and set better rules and regulations for the parents like her. I have had my encounter with this parent and after the incident I went straight to the office and let MPD know, with the description of driver, license plate #, and make and model of car. I applaud the school for setting up the crosswalk now but it doesn’t seem to make a difference....Please be careful when you are around this car (Red/ Burgundy Toyota Tacoma 4 door) because they seem to not have no regards for human life or any life at that matter.
