RTA Unveils October Promotion: Pay $5 and Ride for 30 Days

The cost of riding the bus is about to take a major plunge. That's because RTA is slashing the price of 30-Day passes to just $5. During the entire month of October, customers can purchase one 30-Day Pass for just $5 by ordering it from the Token Transit app or the RTA website. Paper passes are also available to purchase at RTA headquarters. Dial-A-Ride Customers can also save by purchasing one 10-ticket book for $5. Although the promotion doesn't officially begin until October 1, bus riders can begin pre-ordering the discounted tickets and passes as early as September 24 and as late as October 31. Customers shouldn't wait too long to activate these special 30-Day passes or use their Dial-A-Ride tickets because they are only valid through November 30. RTA is optimistic that these discounted passes will go a long way in generating ridership and encouraging passengers to return to public transit or try it for the first time.
