Press release from the City of Champaign: September 24, 2021 In order to perform storm sewer repairs, SNC Construction will be closing one southbound lane of State Street between Park Avenue and University Avenue.  The lane closure will begin on Monday, September 27, 2021, and is scheduled to be reopened by Friday, October 1, 2021.  Southbound traffic will be merged into a single lane through the construction zone.  This work is weather dependent and may be delayed in the event of inclement weather.  Minor traffic delays may occur.
