help with window A/C

My window A/C is leaking water inside ive unclogged the hole outside,cleaned the filter only thing i can think of is the trap pan i cannot reach it cause i dont have a ladder and i wouldnt no what to do if anyone could help me please i have a child and a mom who is on oxygen from lung cancer and needs cool air i would ask that who ever comes to help please were a mask
