I am a NYS certified teacher in Elementary Education for Grades K-6. I am also certified in ESL and Literacy. I reside in the Throgs Neck area of the Bronx. I am available for tutoring in Reading, Writing, Phonics, and Math. I create individualized lessons for each student based on their needs and areas of struggle. I support all areas of reading that are specific to your child's needs including phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. For math, I will assess students and teach based on their learning style. I use hands on manipulatives to help your child visualize and understand the math topic. I have been a teacher for 11 years and have taught Kindergarten, 3rd grade and 4th grade. I am available to help support your child's needs in person or remotely. For in person learning, I am available to come to your home. As their tutor I will assess your child and provide progress updates to show your child's growth. Per session rate is $65 for in person/ $55 for remote learning. Session details: 60 minute instructional sessions. All remote sessions use Google meet. I am available to come to your home or the Throg's Neck library.
