Who do some churches post "a new or upstart" church is looking for volunteers... When this same church has been posting this add (replace bass player for _____ what ever else they need) for YEARS? At what point do you have the resources to pay your musicians? (NEVER) At what point do you get tired of a revolving door of people who may "have a heart for worship" but it does not motivate them to practice to make a "joyful" sound? (NEVER if it is going to cut into the bottom line for the preacher, who does NOT work for free).... So, Pay your musicians, or dont you have the faith to do so? King David hired the best he could get, shouldnt you too?
