Saw small white bird

Marietta street near Hall street, Providence RI

Description

Just came in from walking my dog. We saw a small white bird land and we approached. Just as I was about to pick it up, it startled and hopped under a fence of abandoned property on the corner of Hall Street and Marietta Street. There's no way to get into the fenced yard. I went back and tried to lur it with grapes, but it moved further away.
