The Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District (THPRD) seeks to fill four Building Maintenance Technician vacancies to keep its recreation facilities looking top notch and support district programming. Our facilities are essential to our community in providing high-quality recreation and are maintained by our dedicated employees in the maintenance operations department. Building Maintenance Technician I (2 vacancies) Salary Range: $4,182-$5,297 monthly. If you have the equivalent to a high school diploma and more than 3 years of experience in commercial custodial services, you may be a great match for the Building Maintenance Technician I position! The Tech I is an advanced journey-level classification that performs the full range of routine maintenance and custodial duties. Responsibilities include inspecting and attending to assigned areas in a timely manner, maintaining maintenance records, and overseeing and leading the work of staff and contractors. The Tech I exercises technical direction over and provides training to assigned staff. Building Maintenance Technician II (2 vacancies) Salary Range: $3,801-$4,814 monthly. If you have the equivalent to a high school diploma and more than 1 year of experience in commercial custodial services, you may be a great match for the Building Maintenance Technician II position! The Tech II performs increasingly responsible custodial support work such as performing minor repairs and preventative maintenance. Positions at this level receive only occasional instruction or assistance as new or unusual situations arise and are fully aware of the operating procedures and policies of the work unit. The Tech II exercises no supervision of other staff.
