Vinny is SUCH an AMAZING little guy. SO sweet. He has never bitten me, and has always let me pet his mouth, neck, legs. Never would bite me, he’s just too gentle of a creature. I don’t know how old Vinny is but I do know that he is a boy. He loves FRESH and WET collard greens. I’ve heard mixed things about tomatoes safety, but he loves them. He doesn’t like banana. He loves mixed salad. But he can get carrots and such stuck to his beaks. So he has to be watched during feeding time. He doesn’t drink water, he only poops in it....he’s weird like that. He’s messy and loud (scratches sides of his tortoise house). He LOVES to explore outside, but HAS to be supervised or he will get VERY EASILY lost, he’s a small guy, please protect him. We love him. He just needs more attention. He’s a very picky eater in my opinion. I’m going to severely miss him. He’s our reptile son, until he’s rehomed to you and then he’s your reptile son. We require exotic vet references, and a rehome fee to ensure he goes to a safe, stable, loving environment that can afford his monthly needs and vet needs. He loves attention but his favorite thing to do is roam the house and roam outside. He will come with his tortoise house, but it’s been chewed on the outside by our 70 lbs puppy. It still works perfectly, it’s just not aesthetically pleasing to the eye. You will need tortoise bedding, something he won’t try to eat if his food spills into it. He might make a very faint little hissing noise if you pick him up too suddenly and accidentally scare him. He’s sweet, lovable and curious. A very good natured creature. He deserves to be loved deeply for all of his days. We prefer a reptile enthusiast type of owner, experienced with tortoise’s. He will live a very very very very very long time with proper care.
