Submit an application: Location: Bensenville, IL (Not accessible to public transportation) Title: Shipping Associate Status: Full-Time Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Pay: $16/hour $300 sign-on bonus after the completion of a 90-day probationary period. The Shipping Associate is responsible for filling customer orders and delivering them to the delivery platform in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, and productivity. The employee is responsible for picking, preparing, and packing products according to the order Pick List. Picking Observes and learns the work process and proactively ask questions to ensure the successful and timely execution of customer orders. Picks items from inventory using a pick list and organizes them in a bin until the order is complete. Counts and inspects products and verify quantities against pick lists. Walks continuously back and forth from aisle to aisle. Packing Determines how the product will be packed according to the method of shipment or customer request. Verifies quantity packed against the packing/picking list. Displays items according to the picklist. Reviews packing lists; marks and labels containers; seals packages with tape dispensers. Notifies lead or supervisor of any damages to products. Work Environment This job operates in a warehouse environment where the noise level can be loud. The employee is frequently exposed to fast-moving carts and employees throughout the warehouse. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, climbing, reaching up, and lifting. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
