We are looking for an experienced box truck driver for one of the most respected companies located in the Charleston, SC area. Shift will consist of a tentative 8:00 am-5:00 pm with optional weekends. Candidates must be customer oriented that focus on great guest service. CANDIDATES MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE POSITION VALID SOUTH CAROLINA DRIVERS LICENSE, PREFERABLY A CLASS "B" CLEAN MOTOR VEHICLE RECORD WITH NO INFRACTIONS ABLE TO LIFT UP TO 75 LBS AS WELL AS UTILIZE A PALLET JACK RESPONSIBILITES: -Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers -Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance -Plan routes and meet delivery schedules -Load and unload containers by hand. -Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
