Description

Mister was found as a friendly stray on June 25 in unincorporated Flagler County on County Road 305 and he has a sad story... he is FIV+ which probably means he was bitten by or mated with another infected cat. ( Mating and biting is how it is passed by cats and only cats can get FIV (DOES NOT TRANSFER TO PEOPLE) They can live a long and healthy life -it just means they have a weak immune system so do not let him outside to eat squirrels! He is a totally healthy and a FIV cat can live with other cats.) He can be a sweet guy and was someone's pet as he is 5 years old. He can be a little testy at times at Petsmart if you pet him too much so therefore would not be good with young kids. The volunteers like to say he gives love bites. He requires someone who has a little bit of patience until he is ready to trust his new owner. Now he just needs a home that will love him and keep him inside. He is about 5 years old and is a medium sized handsome light orange tabby with golden eye He is OK with other cats... He went to live in a cage at Palm Coast Petsmart 24/7 on August 12 and wonders when he will get out of a cage and into a home. Please come rescue this resilient guy! He does love to play! Neutered, up to date on shots, microchipped and the adopter gets a free vet visit upon adoption within ten days. ADOPTION is $0 sponsored by volunteer who loves him and has a FIV cat Please visit him at Petsmart, 5270 East Highway 100, Palm Coast, Florida 32164
