Join us for our Four Day Recovery Coach Academy at On Our Own of Frederick County's Wellness and Recovery Center, in-person and on-line Join us for our Four Day Recovery Coach Academy at On Our Own of Frederick County's Wellness and Recovery Center located at 331 W Patrick St. Frederick, MD 21701.  The training is Facilitated by CCAR Trainer, Lacy Kimble.  This is a CORE training needed for Certified Peer Recovery Specialists and also anyone interested in becoming a Recovery Coach.  Hours of Training: Thursday-Sunday  8:30-4:00       March 19th, 20th, 21st and 22nd.  CEU's Received by Attending all Four Days: 7.5 Hours in Advocacy  9 Hours in Ethics 5.75 Hours in Mentoring and Education and 8.75 Hours in Recovery and Wellness. (30 hours total) The training is limited to 12 individuals. Register Soon!!!  Lunch and snacks will be provided. Please bring a light breakfast and water as these days are long with a lot of information. We will take a few breaks throughout each day.  The registration fee pays for your meals and your take home RCA manual.  A 501(c)3 nonprofit located in Frederick County, We provide peer support to those with mental health and substance use challenges.
