Description
SIMPLE & ENTIRE MARGINS – This is one in a series of genus-specific tree-tours sponsored by The Dendro Lab-NYC in Central Park
Like the "Common Compounds" workshop, this walk is not dedicated to a single genus. Rather, it's a round-up of a wide variety of trees and shrubs, all of which having entire margins – which is to say, leaves lacking any sort of teeth or defining characteristics along the leaf edge. Leaf bases, tips and petioles to the rescue!
Please note: Meeting spot is across the street from the American Museum of Natural History at the bronze bust of Alexander Von Humboldt at CPW and West 77th Street This entrance to the park is aptly called "Naturalists' Gate."
