Join us as we experience the magic of this special season with a naturalist-led hike, followed by a campfire and s'mores! Thank you for registering for "Changing Foliage: Seasonal Strategies of Trees and Plants" Nothing gives us the cozy fall vibes here in the northeast like our trees’ brilliant foliage display. On this hike we learn about how and why this happens, and meet the spectacularly colored species of our region. We'll finish with a cozy campfire around our stone firecircle with rustic log seating. Outdoor program; please dress accordinglyMasks are optional outdoors, but are required when using the indoor restrooms.All ages welcome - from children to seniors! Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. No dogs please.Parking is available in the outer lot on Snake Den Rd, or you may drive in through the gate and park near the main brick building.Non-refundable; in case of inclement weather the program will be rescheduled. An environmental education, arts and recreation center situated on 152 acres in the beautiful Highlands region of northern NJ.
