Description
You were in an unsteady ocean, I was your perfect island.
You found refuge in me.
You laid your soaking withered body and soul down on my ground.
We created a home in each other.
But, my island wasn’t magical; it didn’t have special regenerative powers.
It wasn’t only full of light, no, there was darkness in the trees, too.
Did you think you were the only one with darkness?
You were trying so desperately to survive that you forgot to nourish the land.
You didn’t give back what you took.
You altered my entire ecosystem and now I have nothing left to give you.
So, go ahead and take another plunge into the water, but no magical islands await you. No ship is coming to save you.
You have to teach yourself to swim, my friend.
