Join the return of the OCSC Prone Paddling sessions, the core program we offer through the Blue Journey Unified program. Prone paddling is robably the best activity for anyone looking to get stronger and more confident in and on the water with a social and community component swimming can not rival.
The groundwork for swimming stronger in the open water may be laid in the pool, but the breakthrough is always going to come when you learn how to read the water and understand how changing waves, wind and currents affect how you move through the water. The challenge for most of us is finding safe and accessible means and venues to log that critical time in open water.
Instruction and workout will be provided.
Paddling will be off the protected beach on the South side of the boat ramp with paddlers able to head into the channel under the Garden State Parkway.
