RESPONSIBILITIES • Responsible, under the supervision of the foreman, for reading fire sprinkler blueprints, and for assisting in the installation of fire sprinkler systems, including start up through final testing. • Responsible for following verbal and written instructions from foreman, superintendent, project manager. • Responsible for maintaining a clear and safe work area. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES: • Communicate effectively with foreman and other workers • Knowledge of safety procedures • Strength to carry equipment, tools or pipe weighing up to 50 pounds, and to lift 50 pounds of weight above your head • Must be physically capable of performing work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as climbing scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 60 feet or more. • Ability to climb and work from ladders and operate machinery. • Favorably pass a criminal background check, DMV driving record check and pass a drug screen test. • Must be capable of completing and submitting time reports and other documents as required. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education/License/Certifications: • High School Diploma or equivalent
