Description

See incredible true story of the infamous bandits of the Natchez Trace including the premiere of Tales of the Natchez Trace. I am excited to announce a special showing of THE WILDERNESS ROAD in Natchez, Mississippi followed by the premiere of TALES OF THE NATCHEZ TRACE. Our epic historical adventure films will play October 16th at the Natchez Convention Center. The Wilderness Road begins this double feature at 3pm followed by Tales of the Natchez Trace at 7pm. There will be a meet and greet with select cast and members of the Natchez 101 historical group who participated in these two films between 5:30pm and 6:30pm. Tickets to each showing are 10 dollars or you can get a ticket to see both movies for only 15 dollars. The Wilderness Road tells the story of the most notorious land pirates who stalked the Southeast during the turn of the 19th century. Samuel Mason (Creek Wilson), a Revolutionary War hero, turns to a life of crime and forms a dangerous gang of bandits. Big Harpe (Daulton Brewer) and Little Harpe (Travis Mills), considered by some to be America's first serial killers, wreak havoc through the region as they kill without mercy. Soon, these three outlaws will meet along the wilderness road. Tales of the Natchez Trace continues to explore the history of this time and place with short episodes exploring Andrew Jackson, Meriwether Lewis, Mike Fink and more. DVDS of The Wilderness Road will be available for the first time at this event. Running Wild Films is a film production company making feature-length and short films in Arizona and Mississippi.
