Hey there anyone who loves poetry-come to an open mic where you can hear local literary talents share their poems/prose or come on up to the podium yourself and read. We are a new venue called Metaphorically Speaking meeting monthly at Mountain Gypsy Home Imports on 5034 Old Cheney Rd. the third Wednesday from 6:30-8pm. Our next meet up will be October 20th. If you share a love of poetry, join us for a relaxing evening and invite a friend or two. There will be a sign up sheet for readers; you can read your own poetry or read from a favorite poet. A limited amount of refreshments will be available. Hope to see you there!
