Join us as we explore Deming Heights Park, guided by foraging expert Tim Clemens of Ironwood Foraging Co.! Explore Eastside Food Co-op's neighborhood's vast edible landscape with Tim Clemens, founder of Ironwood Foraging Co., for a hands-on learning experience identifying edible and medicinal wild plants and mushrooms in the urban green spaces of Northeast Minneapolis. This workshop is open to participants ages 16 and up. The workshop will begin at Deming Heights Park at 10 am. Total walking distance should be just under one mile. Attendees will want to dress comfortably for any weather with closed-toe shoes, water, a phone/camera, and note-taking materials. Space is limited. Registration closes the day before the workshop.
