Newton, Mass. (September 24, 2021) – Newton-Wellesley Hospital (NWH), a member of Mass General Brigham, today announced the selection of two new Co-Chairs to its Board of Advisors (BOA). Emily Neill, Senior Managing Director for Robert Half Executive Search, and Josh Levy, co-founding Principal of Waterstone Properties Group, began serving in their new roles on September 1. As BOA Co-Chairs, Neill, who lives in Natick, and Levy, who lives in Westwood, will serve as prominent ambassadors for NWH in their communities, advocating on behalf of the hospital and helping to advance its current initiatives and strategic priorities. NWH’s BOA is comprised of volunteers who share a passion for the hospital and a keen interest in learning more about its clinical services, programs, and goals. “Newton-Wellesley Hospital is a storied institution that has played an irreplaceable role in our community – and in my own family – for 140 years,” Neill said. “I am proud to be associated with this hospital and have a vested interest in seeing it thrive. I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to help introduce its mission and vision to a wider audience and build additional support for its incredible work.” Neill brings more than 30 years of leadership and consulting experience for both for-profit and nonprofit organizations to the BOA. In her role at Robert Half Executive Search, she is responsible for helping clients build strong leadership teams that, in turn, give them a sustainable competitive advantage within their industries. She is also deeply involved with many nonprofit and professional organizations and currently serves as a member of the Women’s Network Advisory Board of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce, Mass General Brigham Corporate Board, Boston Police Activities League (PAL), and Junior Achievement of Northern New England Board Emeritus. Neill lives in Natick with her husband, Dayton, and her two teenage children, Addison and DJ, all of whom were born at NWH. “Newton-Wellesley Hospital places patients at the center of everything it does, which is why it has earned a reputation for high-quality, compassionate care,” Levy said. “I am excited to work with my fellow BOA members to ensure our community continues to back Newton-Wellesley in the same way the hospital has backed our community for generations – and more closely connect the hospital with the towns and cities where its patients live.” Levy co-founded Waterstone Properties Group, the second-largest retail developer in New England, which specializes in mixed-use developments, healthcare, medical villages, and offices. His work focuses on combining these elements into fully integrated projects that provide an unparalleled and hospitality-infused guest or patient experience – helping employers better recruit and retain talent. Levy leads Waterstone’s Healthcare Initiatives, providing real estate, finance solutions, experiential-integration and more to many healthcare systems, community hospitals and physician-owned practices throughout the U.S. He is also actively involved in fostering partnerships with civic organizations, government officials, brokers, and tenants to serve the community and has been a guest lecturer at both Harvard Business School and Boston College. Levy is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, NH ICSC Next Generation Committee, Young President’s Organization (YPO), Boston College TREK, and is actively involved with the Dakshana Foundation in India and other local Boston organizations. Key community members like Neill and Levy are asked to serve on the NWH BOA to help further the hospital’s mission of providing exemplary and compassionate care to every patient who walks through its doors. This year, a new class of 19 members joined the BOA for three-year terms, giving the Board a total of 127 members. Advisors contribute leadership, advice and counsel to the NWH Board of Trustees and the Strategic Leadership Team, helping to increase awareness of the critically important role that philanthropy plays in supporting NWH and its mission.
