On this tour, our local guide will take you inside small businesses and introduce you to entrepreneurs along the Coolidge corridor. Most known for its quaint residential homes and tree lined streets, the inner-ring Detroit suburb of Berkley, Michigan has become one of the most desirable small cities in the United States. Berkely is much more than cute bungalows though. There are dozens of unique small businesses some of which have been around generations while others are opening all the time. Plus the city itself is working on some exciting projects and infrastructure to make the retail corridors and streetscapes even better than they already are. On this tour our local guide will take you inside small businesses and introduce you to entrepreneurs along the Coolidge corridor all the while providing you with a deeper look into the city's history, realities and what the future has in store for the 2.6 sq. mi. City of Berkley. Walking Distance: ~1.5 miles PARKING: Very close proximity municipal parking and bicycle parking are available along the sports field fence behind Sugar Kisses Bakery 2752 Coolidge Hwy, Berkley, MI 48072.
