Take Patch's Survey The Big Story WTNH News 8 reports that nearly 300 school bus drivers plan to walk off the job at the end of Friday, which could mean major problems for schools on Monday, Sept. 27. Nearly 300 school bus drivers are unvaccinated and refuse to undergo weekly testing, which is part of Gov. Lamont's vaccine mandate. The Connecticut School Transportation Association (CSTA) wrote a letter to state education officials saying, "The school bus driver shortage will become 10 times worse on that day, and it will be a crisis driven by government."(Read the full WTNH News 8 story here). Child, 10 shot in CT Waterbury police are investigating after a 10-year-old and a 20-year-old were shot Thursday night, WFSB 3 TV reports. No arrests have been made yet. (Read more at WFSB 3 TV).
