HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Grab the kids and head over to the Howard County Library System's 5-Star Showcase Oct. 2 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the East Columbia Branch. The outdoor event will offer such activities as a 360-degree photo booth, carnival games, crafts, live music, story time, giveaways and more.
