Press release from Anne Arundel County Public School: September 24, 2021 The ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Edgewater Elementary School has been rescheduled for 5 p.m. on Tuesday, September 28, 2021. The event, originally scheduled for September 2, was postponed due to damage in the community caused by a tornado the previous day. The $50 million facility encompasses more than 89,600 square feet and is home to more than more than 530 students and staff.
