Press release from the City of Iowa City: September 24, 2021 The City of Iowa City is participating in the Entry Level & Beyond job fair on Thursday, Sept. 30, 2021. The job fair, sponsored by IowaWORKS, will take place from 1-4 p.m. at the Kingdom Center, 611 Southgate Ave., Iowa City. The job fair will focus on retail, human services and manufacturing careers, and is open to the public. A representative from the City's Human Resources Office will be in attendance to provide information on current openings and the application process. Additional City participants are: Representatives from the Iowa City Police and Fire Departments will be sharing information about careers in public safety. Parks and Recreation staff will be on hand to provide information about current openings. Masks are required at the event and participants are encouraged to come "dressed to impress" as on-the-spot interviews are possible with some potential employers.
