FREEHOLD, NJ — A Freehold man was arrested on Aug. 6 after he was found to be in possession of child sexual abuse material, Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Lori Linskey announced this week.
Leonardo Andrade, 20, was charged with second-degree endangering the welfare of a child via the possession of child sexual abuse material.
He had over 1,000 items depicting child sexual abuse, said Linskey.
His arrest was the result of a series of investigations led by the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office Computer Crimes Unit and the Monmouth County Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
The investigations yielded a total of 14 arrests.
If found guilty, Andrade faces up to 10 years in state prison. He would also be registered under Megan's Law and assigned parole supervision for life.
