Description
CONCORD, NH — First it was Market Basket. On Friday, it was outside of Shaw's Supermarket. And Saturday, it will be Hannaford Supermarket on Fort Eddy Road.
Concord police, in conjunction with the New Hampshire Food Bank, have been collecting both food and cash donations to help the hungry in the capital region as part of the annual stuff a cruiser effort. From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, officers and volunteers will be out again at Hannaford collecting donations.
Along with the NH Food Bank, the Salvation Army and the Friends of Forgotten Children are working in partnership with police and volunteers to collect donations.
Only non-glass, non-perishable food donations will be accepted.
