Press release from the City of Reno: 09/23/2021 4:25 PM Reno City Councilmember Naomi Duerr and the Ward 2 Neighborhood Advisory Board (NAB) are hosting a neighborhood cleanup on Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Reno residents are invited to participate by bringing trash, yard waste, and other large items they would like to dispose of. "These neighborhood cleanups are an important part of the City's sustainability efforts," Duerr said. "We invite our community to come out on Saturday to take advantage of this great opportunity before winter arrives." Items accepted: Large trash and debris Tires Small appliances Grass clippings* Tree and hedge trimmings* Bicycles** *Green waste will be delivered to a commercial composting facility. Volunteers will be present to ensure the waste is uncontaminated. **Bicycles will be donated.
