Mokena's $1.44 million investment in street maintenance for the current year has rolled into action, with preliminary work initiated in the Grasmere subdivision north of 195th Street, east of Kevin Avenue, and on 195th Street from Wolf Road to Townline Road.
Parts of the original town centered around Hiawatha Street are additionally scheduled for street and roadway improvements this autumn.
