Robbery
A person made a purchase about 11:30 a.m. Sept. 13 at 7-Eleven, 9600 E. Ogden Ave. A man then asked the person for any spare cash for the man's family. The person got into his car, and the man followed him into the car. The man struck the person and took $8.50 from the person's hand and ran away. DUI
Francisco Orellana Ochoa, 34, of Chicago, was arrested about 2:30 a.m. Wednesday at Ogden and Locust avenues on charges of DUI, operating an uninsured vehicle, driving with a suspended or revoked license, and driving without lights when required. Driving violations
Felipe Alonso, 61, of Chicago, was cited about 3:30 a.m. Monday at La Grange Road and 47th Street on charges of driving with a suspended license, expired registration, operating an uninsured vehicle and failure to signal when required. Damage
A door to a storage area was reported damaged Sunday in the 10 block of South Sixth Avenue. The lock was missing. Bike theft
A child's GT neon green and black bicycle was stolen between 12:30 a.m. and 1:30 a.m. Sunday at Waiola Park at 47th Street and Waiola Avenue. The bike was valued at $480. Phone stolen
An employee's cellphone was stolen Monday from Aurelio's Pizza, 11 W. Calendar Ave. The restaurant is reviewing video surveillance to narrow down the suspects and the timeframe. Bench theft
The decorative metal benches in front of Bang Salon, 805 W. Hillgrove Ave., were stolen between 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.
