Man Driving Stolen Jeep Arrested In Bolingbrook: Cops

BOLINGBROOK, IL — A 46-year-old Bolingbrook man was arrested Wednesday night after officers found the Jeep he was driving was reported stolen from Chicago, police said. Donald B. Smith, of the 500 block of Kingsbrook Crossing, was pulled over by Bolingbrook police at the intersection of Lily Cache Drive and Orchard Lane for an equipment violation around 8:02 p.m., police said. When officers ran the Jeep Grand Cherokee's identification number in the system, they found it had been reported stolen from Chicago, according to police.
