Unfortunately I need to rehome my two pet chinchillas because I will be moving soon and the travel is a little too far for me to want to put them through.
I got both of them from a responsible breeder in Syracuse and both are just over two years old. Although both chins have been together since they were kits, they recently developed dominance issues and I had to permanently separate them. I currently have a two story Ferret Nation cage, with one chinchilla on each level. One chinchilla is ebony and one is a standard gray. Since they are separated, a new owner may take one or both, however, if one is taken before the other I will not be able to give away the cage. I will supply new owner(s) with a starter kit of pellets/hay/treats/toys.
I would prefer to rehome these chinchillas with someone that has already taken care of chins or completely understands all requirements necessary to take care of them.
A rehoming fee will apply, email me for more details or if you are interested.
NOTE: Chinchillas live for upwards of 10 years, need to be kept in a cool (under 70 degrees) and dry climate at all times, and should have about an hour of play outside the cage on most days.
